Spaghetti and Meat Sauce

INGREDIENTS

Serves 4

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 80/20

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon Flavor Crank All Purpose seasoning

  • 16 ounces spaghetti

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons of Fresh Basil chopped.

  • 1-2 tablespoons of Grated parmesan


INSTRUCTIONS

1. Fill a large pot with water, at least 2/3 of the way to the top. Season water with a handful of salt, about 2 tablespoons and allow to come to a boil. Once water is rolling, add pasta and stir to prevent sticking the first 20 seconds. Depending on the type of pasta, allow to boil 7-10 minutes or until aldente.

2. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add beef to the pot, sprinkle with Flavor Crank AP seasoning, crumble into small chunks with a wooden spoon and cook until lightly browned adding garlic half way through this process. Add 6-8 ounces of your favorite pasta sauce from a jar to the ground beef and stir to incorporate add additional Flavor Crank AP seasoning to taste. Allow to simmer on a low heat.

3. Once pasta is done, strain and add to the large pan of meat sauce and use a pair of tongs to incorporate and stir pasta into sauce. You may add a bit of the parmesan cheese and fresh basil while incorporating pasta and sauce.

4. To plate: Use a pasta bowl and tongs. Twist the pasta as you place it in the bowl to give the pasta height. Add the cheese and fresh basil on top. DONE.
